INFO has over 35 years experience doing timber inventories and appraisals. Whether the client has 1 acre or 100,000 acres, INFO can design and implement a timber inventory to meet their criteria. Timber inventories are designed to survey stand structure, age classes, species composition, and volume totals. INFO uses a number of industry standard inventory and timber cruise software packages and growth models to calculate existing and future volumes and forest conditions.

INFO cruises over 10,000 acres of timberland annually. We perform extensive timber surveys on large ownerships, as well as intensive surveys on small acreages. These timber cruises are often associated with timber appraisals.

The company routinely appraises timber, timberlands, environmentally sensitive lands, and lands in transition. Clients include government agencies, timber companies, and private investors, such as Timber Investment Management Organizations (TIMO). Appraisals are prepared in accordance with the standards of appraisal institutes and Yellow Book standards when required. INFO also assists clients with purchase and sale strategies for timber and forestland.
