Jesse Saunders graduated from the University of Washington in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Forest Management. Mr. Saunders joined International Forestry Consultants Inc. in 2004 starting out as a forest inventory technician and growing into a successful Resource Information Manager. He has worn several hats along the way and continues to take on new project management roles. As Resource Information Manager, Mr. Saunders conducts the annual updating and inventory reporting on over 75,000 acres of managed forest lands. He is responsible for maintaining all inventory databases, growth modeling, harvest depletions, and planning for all managed lands and contract assignments for various agencies and clients in the Pacific Northwest. Mr. Saunders manages INFO’s partnerships in large urban resource projects such as the Integrated Urban Forest Assessment and Green Cities programs. These projects assess vegetation health and value, invasive species threats, and associated restoration priorities. Also as an ISA Certified Arborist, he routinely assists developers, construction managers and real estate brokers with tree protection plans and hazard tree assessments. As the project manager for several forest inventory and analysis plans, Mr. Saunders designs and implements forest inventories on private, tribal, and public forestland. He is responsible for determing cruise intensity and field data collection, compiling cruiser plot data, delineating stand types, and creating summary reports.
