Matt Rourke graduated from the University of Washington in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Forest Management. Since then, Matt has worked in forestry with a focus on resource and environmental assessment, and timber and land management. He has been with INFO since 2005.

Matt is responsible for forest management activities from road and unit design/layout, to permitting and contract administration. His experience extends to the application of silvicultural methods for multiple values in a variety of forest types and ages, including east and west-side Pacific Northwest forests, coastal redwood, and Sierra Nevada mixed conifer. Other project work is diverse, including road and forest inventory, forest stewardship planning, and permitting for conversion options. He also performs arboricultural services with INFO, including tree risk and condition assessments, tree appraisals, and urban management plans.

Matt is a Registered Professional Forester in California, and an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist. He is a Commissioner on the King County Rural Forest Commission, as well as a member of both the Society of American Foresters and Pacific Northwest Chapter ISA.
