Dennis Dart graduated from Humboldt State University, Arcata, CA in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry. He has worked for INFO since 2001 and has been a principal of INFO since 2004. Mr. Dart’s focus is on client relations, timberland management, and overall project management.

As timberland manager on over 55,000 acres under INFO management, he is responsible for all facets of forestland management including annual budgeting, client reporting, contract negotiation, harvest scheduling, certification compliance, log marketing, forest excise taxes, and general tree farm administration. He is responsible for and prepares long range harvest and operation plans based on SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative) principles, pre-commercial and commercial silviculture planning, and SFI policy implementation. Mr. Dart is responsible for oversight of the forestry staff performing operations on the tree farms under INFO management.

As a project manager, Mr. Dart is responsible project proposal preparation, project scoping and budgeting, project implementation, and reporting & delivery of results. He maintains quality control measures and ensures project compliance with important milestones.

Mr. Dart is accredited as a Certified Forester by the Society of American Foresters (#3672). He is also Chair of the Washington State DNR Small Forest Landowner Advisory Committee and is chair elect of the Society of American Foresters South Puget Sound Chapter. Mr. Dart is adept at working with stakeholders to find solutions to complex forest policy issues in Washington State.
